Windows Vista official release.

30.11.2006 se lanseaza Microsoft Vista si Office 2007, dar numai pentru clienţii de corporaţie. Releasul pentru toata lumea se va face pe 30.01.2007. Tipuri de Windows Vista: „Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Enterprise, Windows Vista Home Basic, Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista Ultimate si Windows Vista Starter.“ (Sursa - here, here)

Preturi:

- Vista Home Basic, pretul este de 200 de euro sau 256 de dolari,

- Home Premium este de doua ori mai scumpa, adica 400 de euro sau 511 de dolari,

- Vista Ultimate Edition, pretul este de 500 de euro sau 639 de dolari,

- Vista Business si Vista Enterprise de respectiv 650 si respectiv 800 de euro. (Sursa - here)

Dupa cum vedenti ieftin ... pentru ce ofera ... Sa mai scriu cat costa un Linux Mint (0$) sau alte distro de Linux sau poate un Mandriva 2007 (http://store.mandriva.com/), lista nu se opreste deloc aici (http://distrowatch.com/). La domeniul securitate, nu avem ce compara. Fiecare sistem de operare are avantaje si dezavantaje.
